2007 Saturday Night Shootouts The small but dedicated field of anglers that enjoy fishing at night are back again for the 4th year. Weigh in's are at Rich's Hook Line and Sinker in Vermilion and you must register there before fishing and be there by 11 PM or you are late. Added this year is a big fish pot of $10 per team and the lake is wide open for up to 4 man teams 11/24 Results One Eye & Wonder Woman teamed up this weekend to shut off Alumacraftmans streak of wins. Dick did get the big fish at 9.1 pounds though. Rob and WW had about 22 pounds in 5 fish for the win on a slow bite in pretty stained water. Double A and EZ had a second place finish with about 20 pounds for 5 fish. 11/17 Results The location of the winners this week changed but not the winner. Dick Chicoine and team look to be unbeatable. Fishing at the 27/27 with Deep rogues provided the right fish (32+ pounds) for Dick and his team to win their 3rd in a row. Most of their fish came before dark with the night bite slow for everyone. Rob Cline held his routine 2nd place with 27 pounds and the rest either caught 1 or zeroed on another calm Lake Erie night that the Weather guessers said was gonna be rough.
